Chrystal found me through her sister, who's a photographer herself, and we clicked almost right away, the kind of easy trust that usually takes a lot longer to earn. It's a different kind of day when the people around the couple already understand exactly what this work means.

That feeling only grew at Empress. By the time the speeches started, you could feel the whole room swell with it, and I won't pretend I held it together any better than everyone else. Not a dry eye in the house, mine included.
