Xin Rong + Jouta

Xin Rong and Jouta and I hit it off almost immediately, bonding over anime of all things. Jouta had already moved to Japan by the time of the wedding and flew back just for the day. It's a rare kind of shoot where you leave having made friends, not just documented someone else's day.

That friendship outlasted the wedding. I later photographed her best friend's wedding too, and got one more chance to see Xin Rong before she left for Japan. She's since invited me out for a meal there, and I'm planning to take her up on it.
